This page is an example of my web-design and is only a fragment of the entire site. For this reason, none of the links on this fragment work. The actual web-site continues to be developed by Penn State's Developmental Psychology program and is stored at another location. The title graphic (above) was designed to meet a set of standards set by Penn State in its entirety. I tried to meets these standards while also minimizing clutter and emphasizing the developmental psychology program. The photograph and captions are designed to balance giving a quick, informative, way get information about faculty with other concerns. Two other concerns were to: (1) show the program's friendliness in its faculty and (2) not make the faculty such an emphasis that graduate students would appear far less central to the program's goals. The navigation bar (below), which now only redirects you to this page, was designed to be simple, clean, and to reflect childhood while still appearing suitable for a professional organization.
