Developmental Psychology studies what I feel is the most fascinating aspect of who were are. Our field seeks to scientifically understand how we grow, how we can start life as babies and become what we grow into. Science is one way of understanding, and given how fundamental development is to finding meaning in life, it's not surprising that development is often examined from other perspectives. These perspectives include poetry, literature, and philosophy.
